I have been posting weekly, I found that they aren't here. I am profoundly apologetic.
For those of you that were absent or need clarification, the past two weeks are posted below. October 13-17, 2014 Monday: Study Guides for Quarter 1 Final Exams were handed out. Students worked in groups to complete the guide during the 43 minute class period. The final ten minutes, I went over the more difficult answers with them. Tuesday: I went over the Study Guide with students as a review for the exam. Then students began to present the posters they created (also a GREAT review!) Wednesday/Thursday: Students took their exam depending on the district schedule. Students NOT taking the exam, read and answered questions on Cell Transportation to prepare for next week. Friday: NO SCHOOL (Teacher work day) October 20-24, 2014 Monday: Began Egg Lab Demo to demonstrate Cell Transportation. We worked through an interactive PowerPoint on the topic. Tuesday: Egg Lab Wednesday: Egg Lab Write-up/Quiz Thursday: NO School. Student Led Conferences. Friday: NO School. Happy Autumn! The end of the 1st Quarter is already here. This week students will be taking Quarter Finals in all of their classes on Wednesday and Thursday. Please make sure that they are studying, getting a good night's sleep, and a great breakfast.
